Often, children from migrant families encounter difficulties in the school system. Insufficient performance at school leads to the deepening of segregation. The presented practice, the day-care of Vietnamese children by Czech host families, is an example for a surprisingly informal and successful grass-root-strategy, which developed apparently spontaneously in the Czech city of Cheb.
