In France Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin has just proposed a charter, concerning religious habits, which suggests 11 ways of conduct in public spaces.
This regulation states the neutrality of public service in the matter of religion and can be considered as the logical consequence of the law which banned religious symbols as the Islamic veil.
